Judah Williams

A pianist-composer who is exploring the merger of traditional classicism, wondrous

impressionism and contemporary sound within his work. An alumnus of the Young Artist Collegiate

Program at Vancouver Academy of Music, he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music Degree in piano

and composition at the University of British Columbia.

From a young age, Judah has been an active performer and composer at music festivals in BC. In 2023,

he performed at Carnegie Hall Weil Recital Hall and the Cremona International Music Festival, where he

received Best Performance of a Modern Work for his composition for piano, Spearheaded Pines.

Judah’s work has been performed by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (Jean Coulthard Readings

2025, 2023), Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Victoria Symphony musicians and the Standing Wave

Ensemble. He is a SOCAN Young Composer Award Recipient.

Judah was honoured to perform his composition, Way of Living, with the Chilliwack Symphony Orchestra

at the CSO Piano Extravaganza 2024 and is excited to rejoin the CSO for the Piano Extravaganza 2025.
